"Camping for Beginners: No Experience Necessary, Just a Sense of Adventure (and Snacks)."

Welcome to The CampSet, where you don’t need to know the difference between a tent stake and a marshmallow stick. We set everything up, so your only job is to show up and act like you know what you’re doing (or don’t—we love a good rookie moment).

Camping in Mountains

What We Do

  • We provide fully set-up camping gear at the campsite of your choice.

  • You arrive, drop your bags, and step into the camping version of a hotel room (minus the weird carpet and mini soaps).

  • Perfect for anyone whose idea of "roughing it" is turning off their phone.

🧭 Picking a Campsite

Choosing a campsite is kind of like picking a good avocado: you don’t want one that’s too hard (aka remote) or too mushy (aka next to the bathrooms).

Our Tips:

  • Start with state or national parks with amenities like water, restrooms, and Wi-Fi (for those emergency weather memes).

  • Look for campsites rated for beginners—flat ground, nice views, and not too many bears.

Ask us! We’ve set up CampSets in a few places and can recommend tried-and-true spots.

Camper Outside a Tent

☀️ Weather & Safety (AKA What Not to Wear in a Lightning Storm)

Mother Nature is majestic… and occasionally moody.

Check the forecast: We do it for you too, but double-check before you go.
Pack layers: Mornings = chilly. Afternoons = hot. Nights = where did this ice wind come from?
Safety Musts:

  • Don’t leave food out (raccoons will RSVP uninvited).

  • Always know where the nearest ranger station or help point is.

  • Download offline maps if cell service drops out faster than your city friends in a forest.

🧾 Campground Regulations (a.k.a. Don’t Get Fined for a S’more)

Each park has its own rules. We'll send you the key ones for your chosen spot. But here’s the usual rundown:

  • No loud music after 10 PM. (You’ll be asleep by then anyway.)

  • Fires in designated fire rings only. Smokey the Bear is watching.

Clean up after yourself. If you wouldn’t leave it on your living room floor, don’t leave it in the woods.
